What do people mean when they say “baba ijebu pay me my dough”?
When people say baba ijebu pay me my dough it does not necessarily mean baba ijebu is actually owing them money. Its just a way of saying that they will win when they play the lottery and baba ijebu will pay them their money “dough” when and if they win.
As written in the post of How to Play and Check Results of Baba Ijebu, Baba Ijebu is a lottery company known as Premier Lotto where any one who intends to play has to pick a minimum of 2 combined numbers or a maximum of 5 combined numbers out of a lot of 90 and in this case the lot is from 1 to 90. It is lottery and the probability of winning it is very slim that is why the winnings margins are always very big.
An example as explained previously in this post is if you can guess just 2 numbers out of the 5 lucky winning draw numbers you should win twenty four thousand naira (N24,000) with just a paltry sum on a hundred naira (N100).
If you guess 3 numbers which in turn reduces your chances of getting the right winning draw numbers and you stake with just one hundred naira (N100) you are guaranteed a whooping sum of two hundred and ten thousand naira (N210,000).
The winning amount is significantly higher with guessing 4 numbers and also with 5 numbers respectively.
So you see, when people say “baba ijebu pay me my dough” all they mean is they will be paid by the lottery company (premier lotto or baba ijebu) once they hit jackpot and in this case, jackpot is successfully predicting the winning draw numbers.
Note: People have lost a lot of money playing the lottery and as well a few people have won money “dough” from it while a very small amount out of the few have been lucky enough to make very good money from it as it is a game of probability, chance and luck. You are advised to stake something not too big as it can ruin ones life as one gets addicted to playing the lottery and in this case “gambling”
Gambling as defined by Wikipedia is the wagering of money or something of value (referred to as “the stakes”) on an event with an uncertain outcome with the primary intent of winning additional money and/or material goods. Gambling thus requires three elements be present: consideration, chance and prize.
If you intend to start playing lotto “baba ijebu” i wish you all the best and i also hope Baba Ijebu pays you your dough
